I wholeheartedly believe in the saying that “you are the people you surround yourself with”. Guided with this philosophy in mind, I crafted a self-portrait that serves as a visual narrative of the individuals who have significantly influenced and shaped my path. The artwork comprises three distinct layers: the foundational sketch representing my physical self, the imprints of those who had made an impact in my life, and the latest newspaper, symbolizing the expansive world I inhabit. This work is an evolution of my earlier project, titled "Rainbow of my Life." In this latest exploration, I meticulously categorized the pivotal roles these individuals play in my life by assigning each a unique color. The result is a collection of acrylic gel transfer prints that not only capture the essence of my connections but also convey the vibrant spectrum of influences that contribute to the canvas of my identity.
