This mixed media sculpture, encased in glow-in-the-dark pigment and resin, centers on the female experience and feminism by reclaiming power through traditional feminine aesthetics. Its vibrant, curvaceous form celebrates the body’s fullness and movement with unapologetic sensuality. At its core is the phrase “thunder thighs,” a term charged with humor, sexuality, and tension. The sculpture embraces this vibrancy and sensuality unapologetically, celebrating the body’s curves and strength as inherently powerful and beautiful. Through its form and presence, the sculpture rejects narratives of shame and spectacle. It repositions the body’s volume and strength as a source of power, inviting viewers to see and honor.
